About the Role
Cochrane Toyota is looking for a bright, friendly individual who wants to start their career in the automotive industry. Our team will provide you with comprehensive training on the ins and outs of all roles related the Service department. You will gain administrative experience answering phone and online inquiries, booking appointments and will gain hands-on experience in the Service Drive Thru when assisting with or filling in for Service Advisors.

Roles and Responsibilities
Appointment Coordinator Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls, emails and internet leads as required.
- Complete outbound phone calls for service reminders and campaigns.
- Schedule service appointments in an organized manner.
- Organize shop load and schedules to optimize work efficiency.
- Provide knowledgeable and credible information to customers.
Junior Service Advisor Responsibilities
- Support the Service Advisor staff in the Drive Thru with logistics, managing customer expectations and any other tasks as required.
- Assist Service Advisors with service consultations and gain understanding of how to accurately recommend and quote maintenance, diagnosis and repairs.
- Assist Service Advisors in generating repair orders efficiently based on customer workflow and appointments.
- Correspond with technicians and parts advisors when providing estimates.
- Maintain consistent contact with customers while their vehicle is in for service.
- Review mechanical inspections and invoices with the customer at pick up to ensure transparency about related information.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and passion for the automotive industry is a must!
- One year of service advisor or service appointment coordinator experience considered an asset.
- Ability to be self-motivated and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain an enthusiastic and energetic work environment.
- Ability to manage customer expectations in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license required.
